How do I sign up?
In the upper right hand corner of the board there should be a option to register a new account. This will trigger a page to put in some info. Pick any non-vulgar username you want. HOWEVER, for the name field- Please use your real name!
Why do you want my real name? I'm concerned about security...
Using your real name will allow moderators to check your information before approving you to have access to the forums. We do this through a sophisticated system...just kidding we check to see if your name is in a particular FBI system. If you are, we will add you. If you aren't we may contact you to get more details. This keeps the board predominately FBI only.
What about security! What can I talk about here?
Obviously, don't be specific here. Keep discussions general, and don't divulge any operational or sensitive data here when describing things. If you need to get specific to discuss a problem... contact a Mod and we can discuss the details of your situation.
Other than that, try to keep posts respectful and DON'T USE NAMES of people if you are describing a situation. Posts are only as anonymous as you make them. If you don't want people to connect your name with what field/division you work in, keep your username and post vague...but focus on the issue in generic terms.

Like all the other folks...I'm full time at the BU. So that means I don't get home till about 6 or so...then I have to feed my face, and then the tiny human blob I have at home needs some attention (I call her V.) So...you get the picture... I will make an effort to approve new users every night.
